Priddis Greens Golf & Country Club, a private course in Southern Alberta, required a logo design for The Nest, their newly re-imagined concession stand. Plans for the new facility include an expansive covered patio featuring an outdoor fireplace, bar, kitchen, and pizza oven. It was important for the new logo to fit into the Priddis Greens family of logos, and to also reflect the natural beauty of its setting, and the architectural elements of the building itself.
We opted to create a logo that’s a balance of modern and natural, communicating an upscale-casual feel. We paired a modern, stylish font, with a rustic font, combining it with an abstract, minimalist interpretation of a nest. We chose a dark, masculine color palette, with copper gradients to create an upscale, refined feeling and to match the natural tones and finishings in the architectural renderings.
